Brookland Labradors are known worldwide not just in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvannia, Delaware, New Jersey, and Washington D.C.. Located in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia at Afton Farms (circa 1789), Brookland Labradors led by Nancy Hope Love, have been producing beautiful English Lab puppies for 33 years. Brookland Labradors have maintained a strong tradition of breeding the MULTIPURPOSE Labrador. Brookland has based their breeding program on the genetically proven, sound old English lines, of the Sandylands Kennel (the Premier Lab Kennel in the World). We have slowly added new bloodlines, such as Tweedledum and Lindall, over the years to maintain consistent looks, intelligence and personality. Brookland "Kids", besides having won Top Show Titles, are Seeing Eye Dogs, Companions for the Physically Challenged, have hunting test titles (including an AKC Champion Master Hunter) and are keeping Ducks Unlimited Members busy. With the aid of chilled, shipped semen Brookland's "Boys" have kids all over the world. All puppies are raised in the house as they are expected to be good citizens, with true Labrador temperament: of an "undying desire to please their humans". Brookland offers English Bloodlines, broad and stocky individuals, bred for excellent temperament. All breeding stock is x-rayed clear, and eyes are checked annually. |
